1 Hurt in Fresno Auto Accident near Cedar Avenue

FRESNO, CA (June 4, 2020) – Last Tuesday afternoon, a driver suffered injuries in a car crash near Cedar Avenue in Fresno.

The incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. near Cedar Avenue and Belmont Avenue.

According to a male witness, he quickly aided the victim and freed the driver from the smoking car.

Meanwhile, the police revealed that the driver had lost control of his car. Then, he struck other vehicles, leading one to overturn.

Witness J.R. Garcia was in his shop and immediately came to the scene when he heard the crash.

“I tried to pick the car up and had a couple of people help me,” Garcia stated. “We rolled it back over on its side and came over to the passenger side and pulled him out and we sat him down because the car was smoking and we didn’t know if it would catch fire or not.”

Moreover, the police confirmed that the driver sustained only minor injuries.

Driving can be very dangerous if you are not driving safely and legally. This is especially true if you are driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. It is important to always abide by traffic laws and to do your part to prevent dangerous accidents.

Involvement in Car Accidents

Car accidents are not only troublesome for your property or vehicle, but your personal well being also.

Accidents can leave you or your passengers severely injured, disfigured, and permanently disabled. Aside from knowing how to drive safely, it’s also best to know what follows in the event of a car crash.

If you’ve been injured in a crash, the most valuable step you can take in response is to hire a personal injury attorney.

“A common misconception is that personal injury lawyers don’t care. That is simply not true. Injury lawyers care about and want justice for their clients. We are driven by the desire to make our clients whole again,” says Steve Baric of Sweet Lawyers, an experienced attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
