Two-Vehicle Collision Reported near Ventura Boulevard

SHERMAN OAKS, CA (November 29, 2018) – Early Thursday morning, a driver was injured in a car crash on 405 Freeway. The name and place of the injured victim were not immediately disclosed to the public.

According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:39 AM, near Ventura Boulevard. Based on the traffic collision reports, there were two vehicles recovered at the scene. The parties were identified as a gray Honda Civic and a gray Jeep Cherokee.

Paramedics were requested to the crash site for needed medical attention after the female driver of the Honda was seen bleeding from her nose. Medical attention was given, and the victim’s condition was considered non-life-threatening.

All northbound lanes were closed, directing the traffic to Highway 101. Clearing and recovery operations were performed in the area. The accident was under investigation by the authorities to determine the cause and other factors related to it. Additional information will be released by the authorities, once it is available.
