Unidentified Person Hospitalized after Rancho Mirage Rollover Accident on 10 Freeway

 
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (May 26, 2020) – Early Saturday afternoon, a driver sustained injuries in a big rig accident on 10 Freeway in Rancho Mirage.
 
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the crash occurred around 2:35 p.m. The incident took place on the westbound 10 Freeway, west of Bob Hope Drive.
 
After the crash, medical responders transported the drivers to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of his head injuries. The authorities didn’t disclose further details about the victim at this time.
 
Meanwhile, a driver of another vehicle noticed the incident but didn’t stop to help.
 

The Rollover Incident Aftermath and Pending Investigation

 
By 3:32 p.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert that closed lanes 3 and 4 to let a team of hazardous material workers cleaned up a spill of oil and diesel fuel. Crews also worked to realign the big rig.
 
By 6:36 p.m., the police also closed lane 2 was when the towing services arrived at the scene.
