KINGS COUNTY, CA (August 12, 2024) – Sunday morning, a driver suffered injuries in a startling auto accident on State Route 43 near Grangeville Boulevard.

The incident involving a Sedan and a gas tanker occurred at 4:00 a.m. on State Route 43 near Grangeville Boulevard.

Officers arrived to find the tanker off the side of the road and assisted the drivers. The sedan’s driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. 

It took crews several hours to clean up the spilled fluids and remove the tankers from the scene. Fortunately, both tankers remained intact.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
