1 Injured in Cajon Pass Auto Accident near Cajon Boulevard

 
CAJON PASS, CA (July 2, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, a head-on crash near Cajon Boulevard left a driver with injuries.
 
The crash between a car and a dump truck occurred on June 30th at 4:21 p.m. near Cajon Boulevard and Kenwood Avenue.
 
According to Apple Valley resident Matt Fuller, he witnessed the incident and described it as an explosion. Fuller added that a male in his mid-20s drove the white sedan. However, the driver veered and crashed head-on with the Super-10 Dump truck.
 
“It was one of the worst accidents I’ve ever seen in person,” said Fuller. Fuller revealed that the crash trapped and severely injured the sedan driver.
 
Meanwhile, when the San Bernardino County Fire arrived, they extricated the driver from the car. Afterward, responders took the injured to a hospital.
 
The California Highway Patrol spearheads the investigation.
