Chico Hit-and-Run Car Crash on Commonwealth Court

CHICO, CA (November 23, 2020) – Saturday morning, a driver fled after an accident on Commonwealth Court in Chico.

The authorities received a report of the crash just after 2:00 a.m. on the 1100 block of Commonwealth Court.

Meanwhile, home surveillance showed how the vehicle crashed into the house. Fortunately, the two-year-old girl sleeping inside the house wasn’t hurt.

After reversing and backing away, the driver sped off. The police said that the vehicle would have obvious front-end damage.

The vehicle didn’t entirely crash through the wall.

Moreover, the crash nearly busted the wall open. It also shattered a window and caused a major dent.

The authorities encourage anyone who witnessed the collision or saw a car with major damage to contact the Chico Police Department.

Driving can be very dangerous if you are not driving safely and legally. It is important to always abide by traffic laws and to do your part to prevent dangerous accidents.

Accidents can leave you or your passengers severely injured, disfigured, and permanently disabled. Aside from knowing how to drive safely, it’s also best to know what follows in the event of a car crash.

If you’ve been injured in a crash, the most valuable step you can take in response is to hire a personal injury attorney.

“A common misconception is that personal injury lawyers don’t care. That is simply not true. Injury lawyers care about and want justice for their clients. We are driven by the desire to make our clients whole again,” says Steve Baric of Sweet Lawyers, an experienced attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
