Unidentified Driver Pronounced Dead after in Mission Valley Auto Collision

 
MISSION VALLEY, CA (April 27, 2020) – Early on Sunday morning, a driver died in a fiery car crash on the 15 Freeway, the authorities revealed.
 
California Highway Patrol first received reports of the crash at 12:16 a.m. The incident occurred southbound on the 15 Freeway and 8 Freeway intersection in Mission Valley.
 
Meanwhile, the witnesses told authorities that the vehicle fire was caused by a traffic collision. Fortunately, some concerned citizens managed to break a window to free one passenger from the wreckage.
 
However, the driver remained stuck inside.
 
When the authorities arrived, they shut down the southbound 15 Freeway lanes and transition lanes from the westbound 8 Freeway to the southbound 15 Freeway.
 
The officers later reopened the lanes around 5:30 a.m.
 
At this time, the fatal car crash on 15 Freeway remains under active investigation.
