1 White Male Driver Dies, Another Driver Hospitalized in Vehicle Crash on 30th Street East and Avenue M

 
Palmdale, CA (September 16, 2020) – On Tuesday, a white male driver died, while another driver was injured in a vehicle crash on 30th Street East and Avenue M.
 
On September 15, at about 4:27 a.m., the Palmdale Deputies responded to a crash in the City of Palmdale.
 
Upon arriving, deputies learned a White Male adult, driving a black 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, was traveling eastbound on Avenue M. At the same time, a White Male adult was driving a white 2002 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on 30th Street East.
 
Both drivers entered the intersection simultaneously.
 
The Mitsubishi Outlander crashed with the passenger side of the Volkswagen Jetta. As a result, the Volkswagen Jetta rolled over.
 
Immediately, the Los Angeles County Fire Department transported both drivers to a local hospital due to injuries they incurred in the collision. However, the Volkswagen Jetta driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
 
Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the cause of this accident is currently under investigation.
