SAN PABLO, CA (February 26, 2023) – Saturday morning, a driver died in a rollover crash on Interstate 80 near San Pablo Dam Road.
 
The incident happened at around 6:00 a.m. on Interstate 80 near San Pablo Dam Road.
 
According to CHP Officer Adib Zeid, a black Honda CRV lost control, crashed, and rolled over for still unknown reasons. Then, the crash triggered a multi-vehicle pileup on the eastbound lane.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that the CRV driver died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the fatal incident closed Interstate 80 for nearly four hours but has long since reopened.
