Driver Seriously Injured in Glendale Suspected Speeding Collision on Grand Avenue
GLENDALE, AZ (August 28, 2019) — A driver is in critical condition after an alleged speeding crash on Grand Avenue on Sunday, August 25.
Glendale police said that the driver was allegedly speeding on Northern and Grand avenues. He was also using his cell phone when he crashed into multiple vehicles.
According to the police, the driver suffered life-threatening injuries and remained in critical condition at a local hospital.
No other drivers were hurt in the incident.
Glendale police said that impairment may have been a factor in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
