OAKLAND, CA (July 11, 2019)– A local Baptist church sustained damage when a driver plowed into it at 98th and Walter avenues Tuesday night.
Authorities are boggled as to what caused a driver to plow into the Grace Baptist Church located at Walter and 98th avenues.
Reports say the driver was taken to a hospital, but officials did not release his or her condition.
Shortly after, an officer’s car blocking off the street following the accident sustained damage when a red vehicle struck it under unknown circumstances.
Paramedics arrived and assisted the officer. However, details did not specify whether the police officer sustained any injuries.
