CHULA VISTA, CA (October 3, 2020) – Friday morning, authorities arrested a driver after a hit-and-run crash on Fourth Avenue and E Street.
 
The incident happened at about 6:00 a.m. on Fourth Avenue and E Street in Chula Vista.
 
According to reports, a driver crashed into a row of cars that had stopped for a red light. As a result, the vehicles were severely damaged and the driver’s car overturned. However, the driver managed to get out of his car and attempted to flee.
 
Fortunately, the officers tracked him down after a short time. Furthermore, the CVPD said that he is in suspicion of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
 
Responders transported him to a hospital and was later arrested.
