2-Vehicle Crash on FM 1936 Results in Injuries
Odessa, TX (August 2, 2024) – A Texas DPS officer was injured following a West University vehicle crash Thursday morning.
It was about 9:30 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection with FM 1936.
The accident report stated that the officer was responding to a motor vehicle crash call. The patrol car was eastbound on West University with emergency lights and sirens activated.
As the officer drove through the intersection, a pickup truck traveling north on FM 1936 collided with the officer’s vehicle.
Both the DPS Trooper and the truck driver incurred minor injuries and were rushed to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating this traffic accident.
