Oak View, CA (September 28, 2020) – On Saturday, a 48-year-old Douglas Mullins of Oak View died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 33.
 
Moreover, according to the CHP, the crash happened at 8:25 p. m. at the intersection of Highway 33 and Larmier Avenue, near the Ojai Valley Ranch Market.
 
Subsequently, reports say Douglas walked on Highway 33 towards a crossing when a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee going south on the highway struck him.
 
Furthermore, police say that a 47-year-old man from Oxnard drove the vehicle involved.
 
Lastly, authorities say they are still investigating this accident that lead to Douglas Mullins’ death. They are also looking for possible witnesses to the crash.
