Donald Beam Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Happy Valley Road in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (August 25, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a 63-year-old Donald Beam died, and one person sustained critical injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Happy Valley Road.
The fatal crash in north Phoenix happened at around 2:30 p.m. on August 24.
Phoenix Police said a driver in a Honda Civic was going east on Happy Valley Road when they hit the front corner of a Chevy truck, which was also going east, near 29th Avenue.
Both drivers then lost control and slammed into a BMW and a Ford truck that was going west.
As a result, Beam, the BMW driver was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Meanwhile, the Civic driver was also hospitalized and is expected to survive. That driver hasn’t been identified and police haven’t said if they’ll face charges.
Further investigation is ongoing.
