Evening Collision Between 3 Vehicles on 80 Freeway in Dixon Hurts One

 
DIXON, CA (March 21, 2019) – One person was hurt following a three-vehicle collision late Thursday evening in Dixon, CHP officials said.
 
The collision happened around 10:22 p.m. on the eastbound direction of the freeway, just West of Dixon Avenue off-ramp.
 
When officers arrived, a yellow Hyundai Velocitor and a white Honda pickup truck were recovered in the center divider, and another vehicle was on the right shoulder.
 
One occupant complained of pain to the chest and paramedics took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the factors involved and liability.
