Injuries Reported in Redondo Beach Auto Accident on Garnet Street

REDONDO BEACH, CA (March 13, 2025) – Monday morning, a disastrous vehicle crash on Garnet Street led to the hospitalization of one person.

The incident happened at about midnight on Garnet Street.

Video footage captures the moment a small white SUV speeds down a narrow neighborhood street before launching into the air, seemingly after hitting a speed bump.

The vehicle crashed front-first onto the pavement, bouncing violently before swerving past parked cars and homes. It then strikes what appears to be a curb, flipping over and landing sideways in a driveway.

The heavily damaged SUV came to rest on its passenger side in front of a resident’s garage door.

Authorities have not confirmed whether passengers were inside or if drugs or alcohol were involved. However, the Redondo Beach Police Department stated that at least one person was hospitalized and another was taken into custody. It remains unclear if they are the same individual.
