Disastrous Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 7 and Cold Springs Avenue Injures 1 [Benton County, MO]

1 Person Hurt in Benton County Auto Accident on Highway 7 and Cold Springs Avenue

BENTON COUNTY, MO (April 15, 2025) – Sunday night, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Highway 7 and Cold Springs Avenue injured one.

The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 7 and Cold Springs Avenue.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 1999 Dodge struck the back of a 2014 Toyota after attempting to pass the vehicle.

Moreover, responders airlifted a 37-year-old male passenger of the Toyota to Research Hospital with serious injuries. Then, responders transported two more passengers of the Toyota, a 35-year-old Kansas City man and a 31-year-old Belton man, to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
