Disastrous Semi-Truck Crash on Southbound Highway 101 Injures 1 [San Ardo, CA]

1 Person Hurt in San Ardo Auto Accident on Southbound Highway 101

SAN ARDO, CA (April 10, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a disastrous semi-truck crash on southbound Highway 101 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:00 a.m. on southbound Highway 101.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound Freightliner veered across the media and started traveling the wrong way. Then, the semi-truck collided head-on with a Buick.

Moreover, responders rushed two passengers of the Buick, a 45-year-old and a 75-year-old woman, to a hospital, both with major injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed southbound Highway 101 but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
