4 People Hurt in Manteca Auto Accident on West Ripon Road near Alice Road

MANTECA, CA (March 19, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous school bus crash on West Ripon Road near Alice Road injured four people.

The incident happened at around 7:17 a.m. on West Ripon Road near the intersection of Alice Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck struck a Ripon Unified School District school bus that was stopped and flashing red lights and the attached stop sign deployed.

Moreover, responders transported the 17-year-old female driver of the pickup to a hospital with non-life-threatening major injuries.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that three students aboard the school bus sustained minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
