1 Person Hurt in San Antonio Multi-Vehicle Accident on Five Palms Drive and Medina Base Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 30, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on Five Palms Drive and Medina Base Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Five Palms Drive and Medina Base Road.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a Ford Explorer that fled from a traffic stop ran a red light and collided with a Ford Mustang. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Mustang to collide with a pickup truck.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a hospital with a leg injury.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the Ford who attempted to flee the scene on foot after the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
