10 People Hospitalized in Palm Springs Motorcycle Accident near Palm Canyon Drive and Amado Road
PALM SPRINGS, CA (December 8, 2024) – Saturday night, a disastrous motorcycle crash near Palm Canyon Drive injured ten people.
The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. near Palm Canyon Drive and Amado Road.
According to reports, an officer who was reportedly performing a wheelie trick on a motorcycle lost control and fell off his bike. Then, the motorcycle continued traveling down the street and struck at least 9 people who were in a crowd that was gathered to watch the 32nd annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade.
Moreover, responders transported 9 spectators with non-life-threatening injuries and the officer suffered a severed hand during the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
