1 Person Hurt in Sacramento Bicycle Accident on Fruitridge Road and 44th Street

SACRAMENTO, CA (February 27, 2025) – Sunday night, a disastrous hit-and-run crash on Fruitridge Road and 44th Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:15 p.m. on Fruitridge Road and 44th Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an Acura MDX struck a bicyclist, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders transported the bicyclist to a hospital with major injuries.

Furthermore, authorities said that the hit-and-run vehicle is best described as an Acura MDX with a model year between 2007 and 2013 with a missing left or right rearview mirror and left inner fender liner.
