HESPERIA, CA (November 26, 2024) – Saturday night, a disastrous head-on crash on Summit Valley Road near Trout Road injured two people.

The incident happened around 11:23 p.m. on Summit Valley Road near Trout Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Toyota Corolla sedan and a red Ford Escape SUV collided head-on in the area for unknown reasons.

Moreover, Mercy Air #2 and Reach Air Medical #13 airlifted two people to a hospital, both with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Summit Valley Road for at least two hours but has long since reopened.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
