Injuries Reported in Austin Auto Accident on 4300 Mount Bonnell Road

AUSTIN, TX (April 15, 2025) – Monday night, a disastrous head-on crash on 4300 Mount Bonnell Road injured 3 people.

Reports said that the incident occurred just before 6:00 p.m. in the 4300 block of Mount Bonnell Road, north of Covert Park.

Austin firefighters rescued one person from the crash.

Meanwhile, the Austin-Travis County EMS took three people to Dell Seton Medical Center — one had critical injuries, and two others had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A fourth person had minor injuries, was checked at the scene, and declined to be taken to the hospital.

Austin Fire said the road would likely stay closed for about two more hours from 6:30 p.m. on April 14.

It’s still unclear what led to the crash.
