1 Person Hurt in San Antonio Auto Accident on 10100 Ingram Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 26, 2025) – Saturday morning, a disastrous DUI crash on 10100 Ingram Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around midnight at the 10100 block of Ingram Road.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a black Chevrolet traveling at a high rate of speed rear-ended a Volkswagen that made an illegal left turn into an apartment complex. Then, the 21-year-old driver of the Chevrolet exited the vehicle after the crash, entered a white truck, and fled the scene.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that a 3-month-old passenger of the Volkswagen sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, officers said that the 22-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen was evaluated and found to be intoxicated and was facing two charges for driving while intoxicated. Also, officers managed to locate and arrest the 21-year-old driver of the black Chevrolet, and is facing one charge of collision involving serious bodily injury.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the SAPD continued to investigate the crash.
