WSP Arrests Snohomish Woman in DUI Crash on Highway 522 near Paradise Lake Road
Maltby, WA (May 25, 2023) On Tuesday evening, a Snohomish man suffered serious injuries after a DUI collision on Highway 522.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the DUI crash happened at about 9:15 p.m. near Paradise Lake Road in Maltby.
Reports say that a 34-year-old Snohomish woman was driving a Rivian R1T recklessly eastward on Highway 52 and rear-ended a red GMC Sierra, The impact of the crash caused the GMC to veer off the road and rolled over multiple times, ending up on its roof.
Medics say that the GMC was completely wrecked and the male driver sustained critical head and abdomen injuries. Rescuers transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Meanwhile, the woman suffered minor injuries and was arrested after showing signs of impairment. Authorities say that she is facing charges of vehicular assault.
