Injuries Reported in Oakland Auto Accident on 4600 Foothill Boulevard

OAKLAND, CA (April 13, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, a disastrous car crash on 4600 Foothill Boulevard injured 2 children.

The incident involving two sedans happened at about 3:05 p.m. in the 4600 Foothill Boulevard near Fremont High School.

A driver rescued two children, ages 6 and 8, from one of the vehicles involved in a crash, according to the Oakland Fire Department.

An ambulance responded to the scene, and Oakland police are diverting traffic from the area. The extent of the children’s injuries has not been confirmed.

Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the collision. Drivers were asked to avoid the area between High Street and 48th Avenue near Foothill Boulevard as the investigation continues.
