Injuries Reported in Oroville Vehicle Crash on State Route 162 and Wilbur Road
OROVILLE, CA (January 25, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a disastrous auto accident on State Route 162 and Wilbur Road injured 1 person.
The incident happened in West Oroville, at the intersection of Wilbur Road and Oro-Dam Boulevard.
According to reports, a Ford pickup tried to drive across State Route 162 from Wilbur Road. However, the driver didn’t notice a Chevrolet pickup approaching from the east.
As a result, the Chevrolet hit the Ford pickup, leaving the Chevrolet driver with major injuries. Thus, responders took the patient to Enloe Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the authorities do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
