At Least 8 People Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on San Vicente Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA (April 28, 2023) On Friday morning, a 2-car crash on La Brea Avenue resulted in at least 8 people getting injured.
Authorities say that the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 2 a.m. at the intersection with San Vicente Boulevard in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Reports say that 2 vehicles collided and caused excessive damages. Officials say that a traffic signal was damaged, and one vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant, which sprayed water 30 feet into the air.
Officials say that at least 8 individuals suffered injuries due to the crash. Medics transported a person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while 4 others were taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, 3 patients were treated onsite.
The 2-car crash closed all southbound lanes of La Brea Avenue between San Vicente Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard.
Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle collision.
