Wenatchee, WA (November 28, 2023) On Sunday evening, 19-year-old Diego Hernandez Ordonez and another person were hurt and hospitalized after a 3-vehicle crash on Wenatchee Heights Road.

According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 6:38 p.m. on Wenatchee Heights Road near Squilchuck Road.

Reports say that Hernandez Ordonez was driving a vehicle at high speed and lost control of the vehicle causing a collision with another vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to go down an embankment.

Officials say that a 3rd vehicle was later involved in the crash.

Medics say that the driver of the vehicle in the ditch, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to Central Washington Hospital.

Meanwhile, Hernandez Ordonez was also taken to the hospital. Officials say that he is suspected of driving under the influence. Hernandez Ordonez is being charged with vehicular assault and driving without a license or insurance.
