31-year-old Devlin O’Connor Killed in San Francisco Crash on Frederick Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 31, 2020)Devlin O’Connor died in a bicycle accident on Frederick Street nearby Kezar Stadium on May 29.

The San Francisco Police Department responded to the 600 block of Frederick Street about 7:30 a.m. Then, they located Devlin O’Connor down on the street.

Afterward, responders took him to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim’s shortly after. According to O’Conner’s co-worker, the man was an avid and devoted cyclist.

Meanwhile, Dean Preston, the Supervisor of District 5 in San Francisco announced the cause of the crash.

“Per SFPD, the incident occurred when a parked car opened its door, ejecting the cyclist and resulting in a fatal collision with an oncoming vehicle,” Preston stated.

Moreover, O’Connor’s co-worker started a GoFundMe account to support his wife and family.
