1 Person Dead in Wickenburg Auto Accident on US 60 and Mockingbird Road

WICKENBURG, AZ (May 19, 2025) – Saturday night, a devastating wrong-way crash on US 60 and Mockingbird Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. on US 60 and Mockingbird Road.

According to the Department of Public Safety, an eastbound vehicle crossed the median lane and collided with a westbound vehicle.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the westbound vehicle dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed US 60 but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the DPS continued investigating the crash.
