YOLO COUNTY, CA (January 11, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a devastating wrong-way crash on County Road 31 and County Road 95 killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 10:00 a.m. on County Road 31 and County Road 95.

According to CHP, they still haven’t determined why the vehicle entered the oncoming lane of traffic before crashing into a car.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car in the right lane succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Also, the authorities haven’t determined if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

Moreover, the crash shut down the roadway for one to two hours.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
