LUBBOCK, TX (May 7, 2023) – Saturday morning, a devastating two-vehicle wreck on Marsha Sharp Freeway killed 5 people.
The incident occurred just before 1:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway.
After the overnight crash, LPD confirmed that three people died at the scene. Then, responders took two others to University Medical Center. However, the two later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
