HARRIS COUNTY, TX (May 14, 2023) – Friday night, a devastating pedestrian crash on I-45 North Freeway near Green Road killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on I-45 North Freeway near Green Road.

According to reports, a couple in their 30s rode a black-colored truck when they started arguing. Then, the woman opened her passenger door and jumped out of the car.

However, an oncoming truck and possibly a second vehicle struck the woman. As a result, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the boyfriend stopped the truck after the woman was hit. Deputies also questioned the boyfriend as part of the investigation.
