FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 11, 2025) – Monday night, a man died in a devastating pedestrian crash on Clinton Avenue and Barton Avenue.

The incident happened at 7:40 p.m. on Clinton Avenue and Barton Avenue.

A 58-year-old man was fatally struck by a truck while crossing the street near Clinton and Barton, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he later died.

Authorities say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. There is no suspicion of impairment on the driver’s part, but toxicology results for the pedestrian are pending.
