SANTA ROSA, CA (February 13, 2025) – Tuesday night, a devastating pedestrian crash on 1100 Hopper Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:56 p.m. at the 1100 block of Hopper Avenue.

According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, an eastbound maroon Chevrolet Suburban struck a pedestrian who was crossing Hopper Avenue outside a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Meanwhile, officers confirmed that two drivers were arrested at the scene for DUI while investigators and authorities were working at the crash.
