LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2025) – Wednesday night, a devastating multi-vehicle crash on Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street killed 1 person.

Reports said that the incident happened at about 6:23 p.m. on Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street.

A head-on collision involving a Toyota sedan and a Ford SUV resulted in a motorcyclist being ejected from their bike, according to Los Angeles police.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. LAPD said three others were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

All vehicles sustained heavy damage, with the motorcycle appearing to be totaled. The rider’s identity has not been released.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Roads around Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street were temporarily shut down as crews cleared the wreckage.
