SUNNYVALE, CA (March 18, 2024) – Sunday morning, a devastating motorcycle crash on Lawrence Expressway and Arques Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident involving a car and a motorcycle happened at around 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Lawrence Expressway and Arques Avenue in Sunnyvale.

When the authorities arrived, they located a seriously injured motorcyclist, an adult man. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the male vehicle driver left the collision with only minor injuries.

Officers suspect that the motorcyclist was riding northbound on Lawrence Expressway. Then, they to make a left turn onto Arques Avenue when he crashed with the vehicle traveling southbound.

Moreover, reports confirmed that the driver of the vehicle is cooperating. Also, officers ruled out alcohol and drugs as a factor in the crash.
