1 Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Monterey Road

SAN JOSE, CA (May 9, 2023) – Friday night, a devastating hit-and-run crash on Monterey Road killed 1 pedestrian.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of San Jose’s Monterey Road.

According to the San Jose Police Department, an unidentified car struck an adult male pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the collision.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers said that a second vehicle may have struck the pedestrian who was already down on the pavement.
