1 Person Dead in Los Angeles Auto Accident on Crenshaw Boulevard and Rodeo Place

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 20, 2025) – Tuesday night, a devastating hit-and-run crash on Crenshaw Boulevard and Rodeo Place killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on Crenshaw Boulevard and Rodeo Place.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, investigators believe that a white Infiniti FX35 traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control, veered off the roadway, and crashed into a building.

Moreover, responders rushed a 4-year-old male passenger of the vehicle to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported two more passengers of the vehicle, including the 4-year-old child’s mother, to a local hospital, all with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that the driver of the Infiniti, best described as a Black woman, possibly in her 30s, fled the scene in a white sedan after abandoning her vehicle.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
