LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 19, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a devastating hit-and-run crash near Riverside Drive and Baker Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:57 a.m. near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Baker Street.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a dark-colored vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.
