1 Dead in Clovis Bicycle Accident on Bullard Avenue and Temperance Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (April 9, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a devastating bicycle crash on Bullard Avenue and Temperance Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Bullard Avenue, west of Temperance Avenue. 

According to reports, a woman driving a vehicle struck a boy riding a bicycle. Officers responded to the scene of the crash and found both the juvenile bicyclist and the woman driver, who remained at the scene.

The boy was transported by ambulance, but unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries.

Authorities have urged drivers to avoid the area or expect delays as they continue their investigation into this “extremely sad incident.” 

While Bullard Avenue remains open between Armstrong and Temperance, officials have advised using Armstrong as a reference for the closure, as smaller residential streets are less recognized by the public.

Police have stated that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
