Driver Dies in Multi-Car Collision on Valley View Boulevard
Las Vegas, NV (December 12, 2022) On Monday morning, a 3-vehicle accident on Desert Inn Road killed a Chevy driver.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police says that the deadly multi-car collision happened around 11:12 a.m. west of Valley View Boulevard.
Reports say that collision involved a westbound silver 1998 Chevrolet Malibu, maroon 2005 Ford F350 and an eastbound white 2014 Cadillac Escalade.
Officials say that the Chevy veered into the center travel and was rearended by the Ford, causing the Cverolet to slid across the centerline of West Desert Inn Road.
Consequently, the Chevy was thrown into the path of the Cadillac. The Cadillac struck the back of the Chevy.
Authorities say that crash caused life-threatening injuries to the Chevy driver. Paramedics rushed the driver to University Medical Center, where the driver succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, both Ford and Cadillac drivers stayed at the scene and were not showing signs of impairment.
LVMPD is investigating the multi-car collision and have not released further details about the fatal accident.
