Carmichael Police Pursuit Crash on Manzanita Avenue and Winding Way Leaves Officer Injured

 
CARMICHAEL, CA (April 9, 2021) – Wednesday night, a rollover accident on Manzanita Avenue and Winding Way involved a deputy and a K-9.
 
The crash involving a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office deputy and K-9 occurred at about 10:27 p.m. Moreover, it happened on Manzanita Avenue and Winding Way, the sheriff’s office revealed.
 
According to reports, the deputy was about to respond to another patrol unit involved in a pursuit when the crash happened.

Reports confirmed that the K-9 suffered no injuries. Meanwhile, the officer managed to get out of the vehicle and walked around after the crash. However, responders took him to the hospital as a precaution.
