Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver from Crash on 3900 Block of N Pecos Street

 
DENVER, CO (February 24, 2018) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on the 3900 block of North Pecos Street on early Saturday morning around 1:30 AM.
 
Denver Police activated a Medina Alert on Saturday night, in hopes of finding the hit-and-run driver and the car involved. The vehicle in question is a black 2015 Hyundai Sonata with Colorado license plates JTQ-612. It was last seen headed southbound on N Pecos, and has damage on the right passenger side from the impact. The passenger side mirror is also detached.
 
No other information on the identity or condition of the victim has been provided at this time. There is no description of the suspect either. It is unclear whether or not drugs and alcohol were involved. If you witnessed the accident or have any additional information, contact the Colorado Bureau of Investigation at (303) 239-4211.
