Delphine Martinez of Borger Involved in 5th Street Traffic Accident [Borger, TX]

Borger, TX (May 27, 2023) – On Friday afternoon, a juvenile sustained injury following a 5th Street traffic accident involving the 50-year-old Delphine Martinez of Borger.

The accident unfolded at about 1:10 p.m. at the intersection with Coble Street.

Investigating officers determined that a 2016 Chevrolet pickup driven by Delphine Martinez was westbound on 5th Street. At the same time, the juvenile was southbound on Coble Street on their bicycle.

The Chevrolet pickup truck struck the bicycle in the intersection.

Immediately, the responding medical team airlifted the juvenile by an Apollo Medical Helicopter to an Amarillo hospital with life-threatening injuries.
