Deell Younker and Others, Hospitalized After Crash on Spirit Lake Highway

 
Vancouver, WA (February 12, 2021) – On Saturday, 37-year-old Deell Younker of Silverlake and 34-year-old Anna Sperling of Mountlake Terrace, were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Spirit Lake Highway.
 
Apparently, a 19-year-old Vancouver resident, Emily Ronda, was traveling on a 1996 Honda Accord westbound near milepost 35 when she lost control of her vehicle in the snow.
 
As a result, it smashed head-on into a 2004 Chevy Suburban driven by 37-year-old Deell Younker of Silverlake.
 
Inside the Suburban was 34-year-old Anna Sperling of Mountlake Terrace. There were also four children inside the vehicle. A 9-month-old girl and three boys, ages 6, 7, and 13.
 
Authorities did not release the names of the children.
 
Furthermore, all seven people were wearing seatbelts during the crash but sustained injuries.
 
Right away, rescuers took them to Saint John Medical Center in Longview. Hospital treated and released Younker and Sperling.
 
Similarly, the hospital said Ronda in satisfactory condition as of Saturday night.
 
Moreover, authorities said Ronda was driving too fast for the snowy road conditions on State Highway 504. The authorities are investigating charges.
 
Officers said drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the accident.
