Deadly Traffic Crash on Highway 12 Claims a Life [Terminous, CA]

Injury Reported in Fatal 2-Vehicle Collision Near Peatland Road

Terminous, CA (August 9, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a male driver was killed, while another driver was hospitalized after a 2-Vehicle traffic crash on Highway 12.

According to Caltrans, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 12:04 p.m. on Highway 12 near Peatland Road.

Reports say that a pickup and a big rig were involved in the collision.

Officials say that the man driving the pickup was pronounced dead, while the driver of the semi was rushed to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the probable cause of the collision and have not released additional information at this time.
